$10,000 Fire Relief Grants to Support Small Businesses Affected by LA Wildfires - Applications Due by July 28
LISC LA is launching the LA Wildfire Relief Grant Program to support small businesses affected by the devastating wind and wildfire events that began on January 7, 2025. The program will award $1.5 million in $10,000 grants to help local businesses recover, rebuild, and continue serving their communities.
 
Applications are open from July 22 at 12:00 PM through July 28 at 11:59 PM.The application window is short—don’t miss your opportunity to apply.
 
 
What This Grant Can Help Cover
Businesses may use the $10,000 grant to meet urgent recovery needs, including:
  • Replacing damaged or destroyed equipment and inventory*
  • Paying wages and employee benefits
  • Restoring systems and inventory needed for day-to-day operations
  • Payables (rent, supplies, etc.)
  • Past-due bills
*Important Note: At least 80% of the grant must be used for asset purchases. Grants may not be used to start or close a business.
 
Who Can Apply
To qualify, your business must:
  • Be located in a disaster-designated fire-impacted area of Los Angeles County qualifying for individual and public assistance.
  • Expect to remain operational now or within the next 6 to 12 months
  • Be able to provide a valid W-9 if selected as a semi-finalist
  • Be able to provide bank account or ACH deposit information (or a valid bank letter) if selected
