Altadena Meals on Wheels Is Back!

Altadena Meals on Wheels (AMOW) is proud to announce that we are again providing meals to our homebound neighbors after suspending service in the wake of January’s devastating wildfire.

Since 1973, Altadena Meals on Wheels has utilized a caring and dedicated team of volunteers to deliver hot, tasty meals to seniors who are homebound for reasons including illness, post-surgery rehabilitation/convalescence, and/or age, to help them live healthier, more nourished lives and remain independent in the comfort and security of their own homes.

There are no specific eligibility requirements to receive meals -- any Altadena resident in need is welcome to apply.  To learn more or to sign up for service, please call us at 626-794-0313.

We are also seeking volunteer drivers to deliver meals along designated routes in Altadena, Monday through Friday.  If you have a few hours to spare at least twice per month, we would love to hear from you.  Please call 626-794-0313 to get started.

\Altadena Meals on Wheels receives no federal funding and operates solely through the generosity of community partners, private donors and local organizations.  Your support makes our work possible.  To make a tax-deductible donation, please visit our website at www.altadenamealsonwheels.org.

Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza
(3650 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, L.A.)

We'll hear directly from those impacted by the Eaton and Pacific Palisades fires, share how IBTU is showing up, and explore new was we can continue to advocate and respond.

Too often, events speak at communities instead of with them. This gathering is different-it's a chance for real-time feedback, open dialogue, and collective problem-solving. Together, we'll connect families to care and ensure both new and longtime partners understand the ongoing needs of our neighbors.
