Reading Program Ends August 16!

Level-Up! at the Altadena Library District this Summer! 
 
Sign up (children and adults receive a tote bag and book when they register/teens recevie a tote bag and reading journal) and earn 5 badges between now and August 16 by reading or completing activities. Redeem badges for prizes throughout the summer (while supplies last). Challenge yourself to read 500 minutes and help us reach our community goal of 250,000 minutes!

We’ll talk about how to keep your information safe and show you how to use free, non-commercial software like Keepass and Syncthing that support your needs. USB memory stick provided (limited supplies available). A brief presentation will be followed by hands-on demonstration and software assistance.

Learn the ancient technique of Kintsugi as a metaphor for healing and strength, celebrating the idea that our scars can make us more beautiful. Participants may bring their own piece of broken ceramic or use a provided kit. Registration is required.
