This presentation on Altadena's Black history will delve into the significant contributions made by African Americans to the community's development and growth. Featuring the Altadena African American Historic Resources Survey conducted by the County of Los Angeles, this event aims to shed light on the invaluable role of African Americans in shaping the town's past and present. Our presenters will share their insights and knowledge on the topic, highlighting key findings from the survey and discussing the importance of recognizing the cultural and historical heritage of Altadena's Black community.
