Altadena Library District Final Redistricting Meeting

Board of Trustees Meeting, Monday, April 24, 5pm @ Main Library Community Room

To ensure more fair and representative elections, the Altadena Library District committed in 2019 to establishing five Library Board of Trustee districts in Altadena rather than seats being at-large. The National Demographics Corporation, the district’s demographic consultant, has created several potential drafts of our future district map.

Unless further revisions are needed, the board will adopt a map at the Board of Trustees meeting, Monday, April 24, at 5 p.m. at the Main Library. We invite you to provide your feedback, preference, or suggestions to us at hello@altadenalibrary.org.

See the maps at www.altadenalibrary.org/redistricting.

Join Our Updated Read Local, Shop Local Rewards Program!

Read Local, Shop Local has been revamped! This updated library rewards program motivates Altadenans to visit and “check in” with a rewards card at local participating businesses to earn exclusive library district merchandise.

Participating businesses check a box on the card for each visit and display a flyer each month. In return, we feature the business in our monthly in-library display, on our webpage, and spotlight it in an issue of our eConnect newsletter.

For full details about program benefits for both library users and local businesses, visit us at www.altadenalibrary.org/shoplocal
