The Bob Lucas Library will soon close for renovations!

The last day the library will be open is April 10, 2024, and we will break ground on April 18, 2024. The expansion & renovation should take about a year. To help us prepare for this exciting project, the Friends of the Altadena Library will host a special book sale at the Bob Lucas Library on Friday, April 12 & Saturday, April 13.

The Body's Midnight Community Read-Through

Join Boston Court Pasadena and the Altadena Library for a community read-through of The Body's Midnight, a new play by Tira Palmquist, directed by Jessica Kubzansky, premiering this April at Boston Court as a co-production with IAMA Theatre Company.

We invite you to read through the script, playing various roles in a round-robin interpretation of the play. Scripts will be provided, and no preparation is required.
Registration required.
